Jejsing is situated appox 7 km east of Tønder on main road 8.

Tønder is a beautiful old town (1243 b.c.) with old streets, gable houses, art museum, bowling alley, public swimming baths, and many good restaurants.

There is also approx 6 km to the German border with good shopping facilities.

There is approx 12 km to Møgeltønder (Schackenborg Castle) where the danish prince Joakim, Princess Marie and little Prins Henrik lives,

20 km to Højer floodgate, and approx 50 km to the Northsea Island Rømø.
